Carrier authority revoked? What brokers should do
A revocation means the carrier no longer holds operating authority under that docket. Common causes are lapsed insurance, a missing BOC-3 or a voluntary request.
- Do not tender new loads to the carrier under that authority.
- For loads in transit, contact the carrier and your shipper immediately and document every step.
- Reinstatement is possible; verify that FMCSA records show active authority again before booking.
